This Ultimate version takes our regular Krausen Catcher (SKU# 2841) and adds two important features:

·         The ability to hook up an external CO2 source in addition to harvesting the natural CO2 produced during fermentation

·         A Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) to blow off excess pressure

If your fermentation vessel needs more CO2 than your canning jar(s) collect, simply do this:

·         Hook up a CO2 source to the ball lock post using a Ball Lock Connector

·         Start by setting CO2 pressure regulator to 1 PSI. Increase as necessary

·         Feed CO2 back into fermenter

Allows cold crashing of large and small fermenters with no backflush to ruin fermented product. No exposure to air!

·         Accepts standard Cornelius (Corny) keg Ball Lock Connector (sold separately - SKU# 132)

·         Works with all Ball, Kerr, and Mason brand wide mouth canning jars (sold separately)

·         Metal components are 304 Stainless Steel
