Heavy duty stand for 15" Jaybird False Bottoms add extra support in the center of converted American Sanke kegs for REALLY big brews!
2-3/8" diameter heavy duty false bottom stand specifically designed for 15" false bottoms that are placed inside CONVERTED 15" DIAMETER KEGS.
Stand is 1-5/8" tall, and drops into the punched-out bottom of American kegs, where the keg bottom keeps it in place. 4 drilled holes are purposely set closer to top of stand. The large opening at the top accomodates dip tubes without interfering with the dip tube's pickup.

IN A MASH TUN: Supports the extra grain weight of those REALLY BIG beers!Added benefit: Helps prevent grain bits that fall through the false bottom from clogging the dip tube.
IN A BOIL KETTLE: You don't need a stand for the false bottom, since there isn't much solid weight above the false bottom. However, use this stand under the false bottom anyway to help block pellet hop debris from entering the dip tube!
Will not work with any other sized false bottom, because it will be too tall and the false bottom will not snuggle into the bottom curve of the keg properly.
