5" diameter false bottom stand specifically designed for 15" Jaybird false bottoms that have the REGULAR HINGE (where the hinge faces down toward the bottom of your converted keg).
Stand is 1-3/8" tall, and sits over the bottom of keg. NOTCHED areas on top of stand snugly fit the hinge pin area (see pictures for details).

TWO USES IN ONE!:
IN A MASH TUN: Supports the extra grain weight of those REALLY BIG beers! LEVEL 1 FILTRATION: Helps prevent grain bits that fall through the outer edges of the false bottom from clogging the dip tube.
IN A BOIL KETTLE: Since there isn't much solid weight above the false bottom, you don't really need a stand. However, provides LEVEL 1 FILTRATION: Helps prevent hop debris, fruit peels, and other adjuncts that fall through the outer edges of the false bottom from entering the dip tube!
Will not work with any other sized false bottom, because it would be too tall and the false bottom will not snuggle into the bottom curve of the keg properly.
