Canning Jar Band - Stainless Steel - Wide Mouth

I tried of the slippage I could sometimes fine with standard wide mouth canning jar bands, so I grabbed one of these to do with the canning jar yeast harvester. I highly recommend it...would you want your jar attachment to fail with gallons of wort above it?

The mason jar with 3/4" threaded male attachment solved the problem of my conical fermenter trub purge issues. The trub, at least with plastic conicals, really does need an open collection vessel. No more losing precious wort! I've even used the washed yeast I've collected for a test batch.
Bramling Cross hops and Franco-Belgian malt I ordered was a winning combination as well (making an imagined 'Biére de Brux' sour French Ale).
