I purchased the 5 1/2â€ length x 8â€ height dip tube to have a dedicated spot to rouse hops from the bottom of my Spike CF5 fermenter. I attached it to the upper side opening on the fermenter along with a tri clamp gas post and it ended up right near the racking arm and it also misses the center chilling coil. I added a couple inches of silicone tubing to the end so it reaches even a little further to the bottom. It is working out great and no worries now about having to use the racking port or attaching a gas post to the bottom of the fermenter.

Used this to upgrade the pathetic dip tubes that came with my SS Brewtech 1bbl chronicals.
The included dip tubes are way too short and even with a trub dump prior to transfer, were causing headaches.

These dip tubes worked like a charm as a retrofit and have made transfers go much smoother.

Diptube works awesome, this is an easy solution to make your kettle or keggle into a working whirlpool. Get all you can out of your boil without drawing in the trub at the bottom.

This one was ordered as a custom build for use in a custom built tun. Really good quality (grade and thickness of the stainless) and the welding is impeccable! The length and depth of the tube were exactly spot on to match the dimensions I provided of the ports and their locations installed in the tun by another vendor. Manufacture and delivery timeframe, again, was quick as well. The configuration was part of the whirlpool setup and works perfectly now. Sizing of these is a match for the standard 1.5" port, seal well, and are a breeze to use and clean (main reason I switched to Tri-clover). Again, if I need additional custom welding done in the future I will definitely be back. Thanks a million!
