This grooved gasket effectively sealed my Speidel thermowell when used in conjunction with the Speidel OEM plastic spigot collar minus the spigot itself.

This is the BEST upgrade for the Speidel fermenters! This clever gasket seals so much better than the original ones that come with the fermenter. Just get one and try it for yourself. Better order a few to have on hand, as you will never use your original ones again after trying these!

These seal better than the original seals and I have yet to experience any leaking with them. They are a little more difficult to seat when you put it together, but only because they seal on both sides.

So much better than the standard gasket. No leaks, no need to over tighten. Easy to install, and seems durable, has not discolored after several batches. The reliable seal gives me confidence that my hard work will not dribble out onto the floor of my fermenter. Another great product from NorCal.
