Using this false bottom, I'm able to keep my burner (electric) on warm/low to maintain the desired temperature and not burn the grain.

Purchased this false bottom per recommendation from Spike brewing to fit their V2 kettles. Shipped quickly and the false bottom fits the kettle perfectly. Thank you spike and thank you NorCal.

I have not used it yet but it does appear as advertised. It was nice to find it here because Spike does not stock any even though the pot is virtually new. There are a couple of minor gaps gut to be expected i guess. The secondary dam under it should work to keep things out of the drain
