The false bottom is very well made and looks great. Have not had a chandler to use but expecting it to work much better than other false bottoms I’ve tried with different set ups. Only downside: it was actually slightly too big to fit into the 15 gallon MegaPot but it was easy to grind down to size

I love this false bottom. The design makes it very resilient to bending and getting damaged. My Megabit 2.1 kettle's false bottom got bent under the weight of 32lb. of grain. I went to NB's site and realized they had discontinued that model for a lower profile model like the one you use in an igloo cooler. I like the NorCal model better since it sits above the bottom of my mash tun kettle and the support ring allows for me to have a dip tube installed. I like the Cheers logo on the face of it. Nice touch. Overall it's a great false bottom and it will last me a lifetime. Thanks NorCal!
