Went the cheaper route in the beginning and was dealing with clogged mashes. The day I received this was the day my clogged mashes stopped. This is the real deal I will only buy from NorCal Brewing Solutions now!

This filter flat out works! No more grain clogging the dip tube, no more flow problems, slowing down to a trickle with a huge grain bill. This catches any grain or flour/bits that gets past the false bottom and keeps it away from your siphon. It really works and after using it I won't brew without it anymore. Really makes for a smooth brew day. If you have a need for one this will solve it. Very well made by the way, rock solid and built like a tank! Thanks Jay!

Can't comment on effectiveness as I haven't brewed with it yet but looks, fit and service are outstanding.

I already have a custom 19 1/2 inch Jaybird false bottom with stand, but the addition of the level 3 filtration really cleaned up the wort from my 30 gallon mash tun. High quality products; rock solid construction.
