I really like the functionality and the clean welds.
My only suggestion would be to make the hole wider and sink the T deeper in the TC flange.
This would allow the user to take advantage of the inside NPT thread.

This is exactly what I needed. Used it for a blow-off/thermowell combo for the top of my blichmann fermenter. Welds are great. With threads on the inside, it might be possible to put together some kind of CIP ball with NPT threads.
