This is made as described, though I thought the seal around the outside of the perforated disc would be tighter to the sides of the tri clover spool...however, given the hole sizes, these gaps are not a problem. I imagined using this to achieve the same as a hop back, running hot work through the filter, which I hoped would retain the hops. It would require whole leaf hops for that, as I found pellet hops to plug almost instantly, and those are what I use the most. It might fit your process, or it might now.

Stops grain from getting into my flowmeter perfectly. Will be great for transferring wort when using whole cones as well. Strong and sturdy, very well made. Going to last linger than me. If you can find a need for it, get it!
