This piece fits and works great unlike NorCal Speidel Fermenter 1/2" NPT Full Coupling which is impossible to place into original Speidel lock-ring with included gasket. Wish I had patience to return all of the NPT items but MPT ones are awesome. MPT version lacks interior tank threads so adding inside the tank 1/2" mpt accessories will not work.

Order some extra SKU# 3064 when you buy this. I shredded it first time overtightening.
Our responseHi Eric, Thanks for your review. Our custom-made "V" groove silicone gaskets are much softer than the Speidel rubber OEM gaskets. They wrap around both sides of the disk, enabling a perfect seal without having to use much torque.

I ordered (3) 1/2" ball valve assemblies from NirVsl & they are working great. Nothing like stainless! Great product, reasonable prices, and easy shopping experience! Will buy from them again, without hesitation.

I love speidel fermenters but I have always through they needed so upgrades. Nopcal brewing solutions provides them. Very thoughtful custom upgrades, these guys clearly use these fermenters as well. Do yourself a favor and spend whatever extra money you have to upgrade.
