After a short wait for the products to be manufactured, they were shipped and received quickly. Unfortunately I am not the original purchaser of the three BruGear 30 gallon vessels. I didn't know if I had Generation 1 or Generation 2 brew pots. After consulting BruGear by email including pictures I was told that they were Generation 1. Unfortunately the tubes will need to be modified because they are too long from the sanitary fittings to the bottom of the pots by about 1/8" to 3/16". I guess to long is better than too short. The engineering and part quality are pretty good so I would consider buying from Norcal again. The welds are better than so so, but it would be nice if they were on both sides of the parts instead of just on the contact sides. Allowing customer pictures in the reviews would really be a benefit for those reading the reviews.

Ordered this for use on a custom built boil tun. Standard size ordered. Extremely well made, perfect for the application as the pickup and works just as I'd hoped. Thanks!

Not for the Gen2 Kettle 03/02/2016

The tube is made well, nicely soldered, but unfortunately does not extend into the BruGear Gen 2 15 gallon kettle. I assume this is for the 1st generation kettle? The folks at Norcal were a pleasure to work with and are hand crafting me another one as we speak and will ship it at no extra charge. In hindsight, I should have asked if this was for the Gen 2 versus Gen 1. So, I'm giving 5 stars for customer service even though it was the wrong product.
