Fairly seldom do you wish for a tight fit and when you need it to fit snug, it never does. The false bottom from NorCal did just that. Their is less of a gap between the i.d. of my mash tun and the o.d. of the false bottom than the diameter of the perforated holes. Whoa, quick breath. Short version. Perfect.
