I would personally consider this a guilty pleasure purchase for my cold side equipment. A bit unnecessary but ultimately an amazing quality of life enhancement to my brew days. It is hard to not feel joy when watching a Kviek fermentation bubble away through this attachment. This blow off tube replaces my previous 3 piece airlock which I was always losing a piece or two between brews. Now, I have no fear of a blow out or clogged airlock, and it is easier than ever to clean out and sanitize. Awesome product!

I got this for my name brand conical fermentor instead of the name brand option, and it works great. It is entirely solid construction, and you can rotate it on the tri clamp base to align the hose with the edge of your fermentor, or further out if you like.
