The NorCal tri clover blow off tube with thermowell is outstanding in all ways for my conical set-ups. It allows vertical thermowell install and blow off on lid while using one fitting. That leaves remaining fittings for spunding valve and dry hopping. I didnâ€™t want thermowell on side of conical s because it takes a port than can now be used for tri clover sampling valve.

The quality of stainless, quality of welds and workmanship, and simple design make this a winner for me. NorCal pricing for this is bonus as other options are far more expensive e. My orders from NorCal are filled quickly.

Two thumbs up to NorCal for both products and service.

Great product. Lets you get your temperature probe down to an appropriate level in your fermenter. It solved a big problem for me with my Spike CF-10 Unitank that was supposed to be able to ferment batches from 5-10 gal. But at 5 to 5.5 gal Spike's thermowell wasn't immersed in the liquid. Fortunately NorCal was able to quickly create a version of this product with a 15" thermowell - the optimal depth for its positioning in the tank. Works well!

This fits perfectly on my Stout Tanks fermenter. Easy to use and the tube drops perfectly at the edge of the fermenter. The thermowell is the perfect length to monitor a 5 gallon batch.
