Part of a good upgrade11/12/2020 ByGeorge Levis Solid unit with a good gasket I know NorCal sells a dedicated dip tube unit for Spidels but that unit requires adding a ball valve and hose bib and sticks out a lot for a small fermenter. I ferment small batches in a 12l Speidel. I drilled the hole in this item out to 17mm and installed it with a replacement racking arm from SS brewtech which fits the fermenter perfectly Not an easy hole to drill, It would be nice if the unit was offered with the 17 mm hole.
Grommeted Cap for Speidel fermenters and storage tanks allows use of standard, inexpensive airlocks. Connecting lock-ring sold separately as part of OEM Spigot.
