I have an old style 15g spike kettle. This appeared to be the same false bottom that was sold through spike, and almost exactly the same price when you factor in shipping.

As expected, it fit quite well. Perhaps 1-1.5mm gap in some places on the edges (I think my kettle isn't perfectly round). It was the right height to accomodate my dip tube totally under the false bottom.

No issues with stuck mash when recirculating with a pump, and nothing major really seemed to get past it.

I'll have to try it with a bigger beer, but it works great so far.
