Let me start by saying that this fermenter does exactly what it is supposed to do. No surprises. Sturdy, solid construction, with good seals.

The star in this show(my order) was not necessarily the order, but the incredible customer service I received from NORCAL. I added a note and asked for the order to be rushed, as I screwed up and waited too long to place my order. I had a brew day quickly approaching, with plans to make a beer for an event, and no suitable fermenter. I received this in two days!!! Communication, shipping, and website were all solid! I am a first time shopper, but now NORCAL will have me for life!!!

I have been coveting the 60L Speidel for a while but only decided to pull the trigger after seeing the cool NorCal stainless pickup insert. I have used them together twice now and they've worked perfectly. The Speidel is very easy to clean and sanitize.

Great fermentation vessel. SS dip tube, blow-off tube and thermowell are awesome upgrades.
